Evening ,anyone have any idea how to get the ime number from a dead (as in won@t charge and is capoot ) Sony ezperia z

It's often printed on the box and sometimes even on the sales receipt

Is it also not on the phone itself? Maybe under the battery?

If it's anything like my Z2 you won't be able to get it - back is not removable.

Is it 100% dead? ie will not charge from the magnetic connector either?

If it came direct from your network, they may have a copy
