Hi guys

Iv been using RW discs to copy all images I do for my friends to give to them.

I was wondering what you could suggest in regards to exporting images to disc

that meaning, what discs would/should I use? What Size discs should I be looking for as I dont want to be giving out 4GB discs where in reality im wasting money.

Thanks guys.

Completely depends on the size of the folder you're handing over! IIRC CDs hold around 700MB and DVDs hold somewhere over 4GB, possibly more on double layer disks. I use plain Rs rather than RWs - cheaper and allegedly more reliable. I also avoid super cheapo disks - a few failures coupled with the time wasted doing new copies soon wipe out any savings made on original purchase.

Why not lend them a flash drive with the images on- they can copy onto their own system and return the drive

Why not get a load of 4gb flash drives made up with your company name printed on. Give the b&g one, another to each mum = free advertising
Everyone else gets DVD's - also I wouldn't use RW's - there isn't a need.
