Image size for disc

Hi all

What Image size would you choose for disc's? Im new to this but done my first shoot and the family has now asked for the pictures to be put on a disc but im worried about size,resolution etc?!

If you want to charge for images, you should only put low res images on a CD (if I'm understanding what you're asking). That means 800x600 or 1024x768 sort of size.

If you want to give them something they can print hi res photos from, native resolution is what you need.

Totally ignore dpi. It's irrelevant as to what you can print. It's only number of pixels that matter.... HTH

Hi thank you, yeah basically they want to buy the Cd so they can print pics off of it.
What is native resolution? I downloaded light image resizer but cant see native resolution. Please forgive the lack of knowledge in this department lol :/

Native resolution = the original camera size. Typically 3000 x 2000 or 4000 x 2600 ish...
