Hey everyone,
I've just bought a 28 in 1 photo frame for my girlfriend. These are 6x4 pictures. 14 of the frames are landscape and 14 in portrait.
I'm just in the middle of selecting which images to use and editing and cropping pictures etc.
Obviously after cropping the pictures they are now not 6x4, how would I resize them to 6x4?
And also is there a way to change a picture from landscape to portrait and vice versa?
Sorry for the dumb question but still learning.
Thanks in advance.
Marco

Sorry forgot to mention, all my pp is through photoshop elements 8

I think I've sussed it out, please correct me if I'm wrong.
I've created a blank file 6x4 or 4x6 depending on landscape or portrait.
Then opened up the picture, copy and paste onto blank file and dragged the image to fit?

if you are changing/dragging the aspect ratio then be careful you do not make the items in the images look fat/thin -you also need to look at how many pixels you are using -for high quality prints you want 300 (although you may get away with less)
so 6" @ 300 = 6x300 = 1800 pixels
and 4" @300 = 4x300 =1200 pixels

I wouldnt do it that way I dont use elements, but in photoshop CS, I would choose the crop tool at the side theres an arrow, click then the sizes are shown choose 6x4 make sure it in the right orientation ie landscape or portrait, then crop will then be constrained to those sizes and can be dragged out over the area, and will always be constrained when you click confirm, it will then be resized to 6x4, it must be similar in Elements

you can in elements version 7

but you can also enter
the width
height
pixels per inch in the resolution box

Thanks for all the help everyone! :) I shall give this a go.

Just make sure your rulers and measurements are set to inches in preferences as doing a batch and then finding you've cropped to 6 x 4 cms is a right pain in the rear end lol
