Image Border Question and Signature

Hi all,

Just starting sorting out some photos that i am working on in Lightroom and CS3 which i am adding some white borders around the images so when uploaded to my site where they will be for sale as prints that they show how the print will look.

I am just not sure on what font or size text to use on my name signature and what do you think to the one below.

if you need to add a signiture thne i personally feel the simpiler the better, Id rather look at the picture then have to work out what the signiture means because of the crap writting.
 
would you say a Signature is worth it or not and also what about a border.

Just trying to structure my prints that people can order on my site as in what sizes etc and if people will have borders

i would add the signiture on/over the image, bottom right still though.
I cannot work out if you have a big white border or just a small trim, please advise,

I would pesonally prefere just a neat trim on the edges to finish the image rather then big bold borders- it spoils the images most of the time taking the eye away from the picture.
 
I like that shot but unsure about the font. I think it would look OK on the print but I think it should look like you have signed it if it is on the border, if that makes sense.
 
On the photo uploaded i added a 1.5" Border to the 100% size image

Regarding the signature do u mean add a kind of watermark over the image so people cannot print or use the image

No, if you look at how an artist signs a limited edition print, it is usually on the border, hand written/signed. So if you changed the font to a handwriting font I think it would look better.
 
Can you recommend any fonts that are like a signature. Standard Adobe ones dont seem good

I like Papyrus but do a Google on calligraphy fonts, there are thousands of them free to download!
 
Not sure about the big C but the signature looks better but could mabey do with a bigger font size?
 
At the end of the day, What do you think? is it an improvement?
 
Yep i think its good, Compare it with the first one i did :-)

I dont like the BigC, Just getting use to CS3. Would there be a need for some kind of water mark on my online shop

Been playing around with the font size etc today and here is another with the same size border
