Imac ejecting external HDD

This is driving me mental!

4TB disk connected via USB3. Powered drive.

Put hard disks to sleep is off.

When Im working in LR the thing keeps ejecting my disk.

Any workarounds / 3rd part software resolution?

There is an option when importing to eject the dusk when finished. May be worth checking.

No, in library and develop, found a video on youtube that sets the HDD sleep mode period in terminal...... I hope its worked and adjusted the External and not just my SSD.... will know in about 30 mins I guess.

Let me know if you fix it. This is one of the stupider defects in Macs. It's been affecting me for at least 4 versions of OS X.

I just don't think Apple are very good at USB.

No, they aren't. Ive just installed "keep drive spinning" and seems to be okay so far. Enter the value of 9999999999999999999999999999999999999999 (I filled 2 form fields lol.)
