Evening all,
I have the above iMac screen, which I use for my raw processing through Lr Classic & PS.
Now for my level of photography, I have no desire to use specialist calibration hardware, as I don’t print, I only upload my pics to web/social site or view locally.. however I have been looking at the inbuilt Display Profiles and have found one that has made my screen look a lot better! 'sRGB IEC61966-2.1'
Its no where near as flat looking as what I was using, which was the default 'iMac' profile, but it is also not over vibrant like some of the other profiles are, which if im right is better for photography not to be too vibrant?
So my question is, is this one that is used by others in a similar situation as me, or is it recommend to use any of the other in built profiles?
Also is the default profile called ‘iMac’ really that flat looking, it’s like all the colour has been saturated out of it? I though Apple calibrated their displays?
Thanks
