I have spend an hour on 3 operate occasions trying to link my credit card to my PayPal wallet - at the first phone call they promised 101% to "pass it to someone higher up" to sort it out and that they would call me back - never happened - no call back - so another hour of the phone with an operator who new nothing of the first call and just repeated like a parrot all that had already been said - promises to sort it and call back - never happened - same again the 3rd time.
They have my credit card details on their system - but the credit card is not "active" and I cannot use it for payments - they say that they cannot "add it" at their end and when I try to add it to the wallet I just get an error message etc., etc., I have checked the info, card number/details, billing address no end of times, but no joy - my Bank account details, (Debit card) are in my wallet and that can be used for payments, but there are certain payments for which I want to use a credit card and not my bank account.
As far as I can see the problem is that my CC was "deleted" from the PP when it expired, date wise, and now for some reason the PP system will not accept the new expiry date - but I could be completely wrong
The problem seems to be that more and more on-line sellers seem to use PayPal and only PayPal for their payment transactions.
I suppose that I could close the account and try to open a new one
