I'm sorry, another "how much do i charge?" thread.

Going to get myself some business cards printed up, too.
Name, web address, email address, telephone number.
Then get some price cards printed up.
I've got a free voucher for business cards on some website, so I'll give them a go.

yup vistaprint, give me a shout if you want a card design!! :D oh by the way, I usually charge 150 quid but for you, i'll do it for a tenner haha, nah, I enjoy doing them!!

But I know what you mean about some people, I guess they assume that friend = free

just startingn myself as well.
one photo 20x16 no copyright 1 of 5 ltd edition print £45 each two sold more orders in
one 40x30 canvas ltd editon £165 more ordes.

dont sell your self short, if your product is good then sell it a a reasonable price. selling copyright to piccy means oyu can not make further money, if i was to sell copy of one of the images i have sold means i would lose £180.

dont sell yourself short. if she wants to spend £25 send her to the local disposable camera shop.

:naughty:

I've decided to charge her £45 for the photos, shoot, and royalty free use. I'll still retain the right to sell them, but I doubt anyone wants to buy photos of someone else's horse.

I've decided to charge her that amount due to me not making my costs clear before we did the shoot, and because she is a friend.

Don't use VistaPrint's stuff, they are no standard size and are cheap n flimsy. Get at least 350gsm card - if not 400gsm with mat lamination. Remember you are charging for a premium service so make sure you main marketing material meets the expectations of the businsess.

This is my first paid job, and I have no idea what to charge.
The actual shoot consisted of a 10 minute drive there, 45 minutes with the horses, and 10 minute drive back.

Just ask her for the pick of the Foals :lol:

Don't Vistaprint do enhanced options as well?

Vistaprint are good.

you only pay for postage so order them and judge for yourself.

What have you got to lose?
