Yesterday was my birthday and I had a great day. Not least of all because I was diagnosed with cancer earlier this year and I am one of the lucky people who was diagnosed and treated early!

It's lovely to hear a success story especially at this time for me. I lost my mother-in-law two weeks ago to pancreatic cancer and, on Monday, my step-father was given 2 -3 weeks to live with lung and liver cancer...trying times at the moment.
Things like this hit home hard and you can count on my support shortly.

Hope all goes well for the event and again, lovely to hear that things have turned out well for you.

So sorry to hear about your mother-in-law and your step father. My thoughts and support are with you and your family.

I hope despite everything you had a good birthday. I remember the big Five Oh. (Hah! it was only six years ago, things would have to be bad for me to forget that. LOL)

We too have already sponsored people who are doing the run, as my Mother in law has just had a mastectomy, but wish you all the luck and thanks for what you are doing.
