I currently have a Lowepro Mini Trekkar AW which tbh is a nice backpack, however it can be too big at times or a bit overkill in some respects. It houses a Nikon D100 with f2.8-4 24-85mm with hood and a Nikon D70 with a Sigma f2.8 70-200mm. In the bag a flashgun sits along with the hood for the Sigma and various other accessories such as spare batteries, aa batteries and so on
As the weather is heating up now (at last) I'd be more than likely transporting all my kit in the lowepro then when arriving at the event I'd put the d100 round my neck and I'd like some form of shoulder bag for the Nikon D70 with Sigma 70-200 fitted. Then when I needed to use that it would become a lot easier instead of taking the bag off my back and so on. Okay I don't mind doing this but if I see something "instant" I want to capture it can become a bit longwinded!
I could just carry the Nikon D70 round my shoulder but I'd prefer if it was protected in some way!
Have you any recommendations? on a bag which would suit my needs? Lowepro do the AW70? which looks a good bet. But thought I'd ask you first.
Thanks for your help
Ed
