Anyone know what the equivalent is in the current IKEA mattress line?

Its an odd question, but I am staying at a house in Scotland while working away and it has a king size bed with this mattress fitted and its blimmen comfy, best ever for me.
But its been discontinued and I would like to look at getting similar for the home gaff.

I worked for them for several years. I should know the answer for you but i don't :)

And where would the fun be in that?

I look forward to 15 pages of arguing, bickering, wandering off topic and eventually personal insults a-plenty, before the thread gets locked with the OP none the wiser.

Then allow me. ...you numpty ;)

OP....hope you find out.
A comfortable mattress is worth more than its weight in gold.

Take note though, of the kind of bed its on too. It makes a difference.

Do not attempt to use gold as a cut-price option, It is both deceptively expensive, and very uncomfortable.

One thing I do know is they are European sizes not UK. They are longer by 10cm if my memory serves me. So you will need a new bed frame too.

A very quick Google turned up these specifications (see pic below), now you can pop over to the Ikea website and see which is the best match.

A wise man (my Grandfather) said that you should always buy the best shoes and mattress you can afford - if you're not in one, chances are that you're on the other!

Many a person's "wise grandpa" has spoken tthose sage words.
I wonder who was first :-) ;)

Nah - they swing both ways now. They do like 8 different sizes - some British, some foreign. Hours of fun trying to get the right size bed linen.

yep extremely comfortable ,had ours for quiet a few years now ,and if used with a mattress topper from ikea even better .i think most of them have been upgraded now (i.e more expensive) but well worth every penny . your best bet is to pop along to a ikea store and try the different ones out to find one that suits ,thats why you always try shoes on before buying ,and don't do like my daughter did and fall asleep in the store testing them out .

IKEA mattresses used to be (and still might be) made by Slumberland. I unloaded a hundred or so lorries of the stuff back in the late 90s
