I have tried the Samyang 14mm but just don't get on with it.

So looking to buy either the 14 or 16mm fisheye

Any advice please. Will be buying used for a FX body

For the full circular fisheye effect (easily cropped to a rectangular image), have a look for a Sigma 8mm - they do appear from time to time.
