If today was your last day which image would you like to be remembered for?

No
There's been a couple of threads recently where well known and liked photographers have sadly passed away.

We all take lots and lots of images and for many of us what will happen to them?!?

So, my question is this. If you could be remembered for one image, what would it be and why? I'm still thinking of mine and will post it once I've decided!

I remember a photo I made on my first daughter…
a unique moment that made the picture so precious,
I wish to be remembered for that take… and suffice
me to be remembered by that very daughter.

How lovely. I guess a lot of us will have personal photos that mean a lot. I remember a photo I took in hospital, my father meeting my newborn son. Import because my father was dying and it meant so much to him to meet him. It was taken on a Sony digital camera nearly 11 years ago and u think it was 3 megapixels, but it worked in black and white luckily!

One of my favourite photos of me, however was a bit of photo of me surfing (badly) in Australia. Reminds me I did have a spirit of adventure and it still lurks somewhere in me!

I would like to be remembered for that photo of Marilyn Monroe standing on a pavement grid with air blowing her dress up. Unfortunately, that was someone else's photo.

Hmm. Kind of pointless post! Bit like this one having to reply to it!

I don't know if this is the reason that this thread hasn't 'lit up like a Christmas tree', but as a wild guess, I reckon loads of people have the same answer as me...

I haven't taken it yet!

It'd be sad to think my best work was behind me, I'd prefer to think that I'm yet to produce the image I'd like to be remembered for, but I suppose for lots of other people (customers, friends, family), I already have.

I was thinking the same but then I also though 'hope I don't get t***ted with a bus tomorrow' as my portfolio is dire. :D

We're our own worst critics.

I can bore for England about how crap I am, but there are hundreds of people that treasure images I've created, which must mean something.

I guess the question should be then if you dropped dead now, which image would you like to be remembered for! "

Thread title changed to reflect this!
" if today was your last day which image would you like to be remembered for "

I'm not a deadly serious chap, I'm afraid. But not entirely pointless. My point (buried fairly deeply, perhaps) is that none of my pictures are going to compete globally. I belong to my local artists society* and I am happy if my contribution to an exhibition is not an embarrassment when hung on the wall along side professional artists' work. Usually I manage that. When I die, all my work will be forgotten.

* Lincolnshire Artists Society currently exhibiting at Doddington Hall, Lincolnshire. Exhibition will run for the next four weeks.

I would like to be remembered for the following photo.
There's three main reasons to it -
firstly the personal ties in bringing new life into this world
secondly not all great images come from trying to find the best light, the best settings, the best composition etc.
Thirdly given the scenario its not always possible to be able to execute such a shot for whatever reason so my hope is that this photo shares the emotional insight beyond just a personal level and lets others experience the beginnings of new life

Anyway thats enough waffle and as this is a photo forum here is the photo

There's a bunch of stuff I hope I'm remembered for, possibly even being a photographer who took pictures that some people liked, but I have no expectation of producing an era-defining iconic image from this hobby. Doesn't meant to say that I won't try to produce one, of course. :)

Going with the original question i would like to be remembered for an image I had taken of the new year celebrations in 2117
