Idiots guide please - ST-E2

Anyone know of an idiots guide to the ST-E2 Speedlite Transmitter to get it talking to my 580EX11.

I am the worlds worst at reading instructions, although I have a feeling I will be doing alot of it in the near future LOL !

Have you set the 580 to 'slave' ?
