Identifying which lens mount to go with Olympus E400

Please forgive the ignorance here, but when i look online for lenses etc, I am uncertain which types of mount are compatible with my Olympus E400 SLR.

For example, I see this online and wonder if it is compatible with my camera.

What spec mount should I be looking for...?:shrug:

What you have bought is known as the 4/3rds system.

SO what you need to look for are 4/3rds lenses.

For instance, the Olympus ones here.

Also, Sigma have now started supporting the 4/3rds lens mount.

You will see some lenses specified as 4/3.

You want a "Four-Thirds" fit lens. This is a common (ish) standard, so there are a few different manufacturers making these.

That does seem to be a somewhat lame site you found there! I can't tell what mount they are selling either. Tried adding one to the shopping cart and still got no option to choose a mount.

This site has a list of 4/3rds mount lenses - no idea if it is all the options or how the prices are but it is a start.
