Using a spare bedroom to house our computers. Both of us are amateur photographers and numerous images to draw on.
Making a couple of replacement computer tables out of new scaffolding boards.
Just not sure how to display some of the images. Themes? Places?
On a small wall, where a fireplace was boarded up many years ago, there's a large map (on a board and framed).
Can't find any images to get ideas from. Google tends to show "studio" setups.

I did something like that years ago.

I just stuck up anything I had around at the time, on the basis that if I printed it that big, I must have liked it! ;)

I had a similar dilemma when redecorating the office in our house and decided to wallpaper one wall with the world map, mainly for when the children would be using it so they could always glance at the world and all the countries to help with their geography. I was worried it would look tacky and ridiculous, so I went with a dark theme and it turned out great.

The trouble with BluTak Nod is that in six months time or whenever, if you take the picture down the BluTak leaves a blue spot on the wall which is almost impossible to remove!
There is a UHU brand 'white tack' which is the only one allowed at an exhibition venue I have been at.

IMO for modest short term usage it has been more forgiving than "Blu Tack".

For domestic use I can only suggest to try a bit in a discrete area and see how it performs?

The wall I have a load of prints Blu-Takked to has them rotated regularly so I don't see the marks. I'll be eggshelling the affected wall next time I decorate the room!

Think I might be in trouble. Decided to make a giant postcard, sort of, using numerous images from our Greek hols. Using Photoshop and arranging them in a random way. When enlarged, I thought it might be interesting to look at from afar as well as spotting the various images we took over the years. Not sure how to save this mega image. It will be full to the brim withMB's. Any ideas for a novice with this sort of thing please?

I would break the huge image down to something more manageable - IIRC, the print machines in most High Street shops prints up to 24" wide, so 4 enprints (6x4") side by side in landscape. I'd make the sheets 24" x 16", so 4 images x 4 images (at the above size), possibly with some 12x8 inch images to break up the mosaic. That would make each file the sum of 16 6x4" prints, so much more manageable than a single, massive file/print.

You can do what you have done but then overlay it with a photograph of your choice which then makes it appealing as a work of art for the bigger picture but also the detail behind it.

As in this example

I did exactly the same thing for a cafe that we go to. Images from the owner's phone with a photo of the cafe on top. Not an easy process. Some colours stood out too much and I had to rearrange them.

Giant postcard containing Greek Island Hopping snaps arrived today. It looks amazing. Well chuffed with it.

Temu have some image background, how about one of those, not only pretty, but handy for the odd portrait? (and they are cheap as chips)
