ideal printer?????

hey i'm looking at getting a new printer....i want one that is really good for printing photos....has anyone got any ideas on a good one...or indeed ones that i should avoid ?????

I use the Epson R2400. Bit pricey though. Depends what you want. Are you looking for an A3 printer?

You've got to consider what you want to print.

Do you need A3 ?
Do you want to print from a roll (panoramas) ?,
Are running costs important ?
What connection ports do you want (USB, Ethernet, etc.) ?
Do you want to print direct to CDs ?

etc. etc. You need to prioritise your requirements and that should automatically narrow your search.

hi thx for your comments....i would ideally like an a3 printer, with a usb connection, my running costs aren't that important, aslong as the results that i produce are spot on..... i was thinking of the 400 pounds region????????

Epson 1400, nice little printer But cartridges are a tad expensive. Produces realy good prints.
