Sigh, I never had to ask for inspiration before, but I’ve started on an idea which I love, but I don’t know how to execute: :thinking:

I have kept the packaging from all the medication that has kept me alive for a whole year, and want to document it. Physically it’s about 100 boxes of uniform-ish size (three very similar sizes).

I could take the clinical view of arranging them systematically, and getting an accurate clinical record, but that’s boring. :thumbsdown:

I thought of crafting them into a coffin / gravestone, but that’s a bit morbid, even for me. :eek:

Any ideas?
 
How about the heart beat monitor line, you know like on the start of most hospital dramas, or the same fashioned with a heart as the beat somehow.

Ah that's quite good! I was contemplating a 'film poster' style mosaic, but unfortunately due to the uniformity of the boxes, there's on ly two main bold colours!

this is a great idea, i love it.

i work for a mental health charity and the idea of medication keeping people alive fascinates me.

here's my thought - the medication is dull, it's what it's doing that will bring your story to life. take the medication on tour , to places that you've been in this past year because the pills worked. without them you wouldn't have been there. then photo yourself (or be really smart and get strangers to photo you) at the venues, with the pills.

it's a pr dream! esp if you're not even taking the photo's, it's an interesting slant.

hope it works out, this could really be a great project that i'd love to see. i work for www.mind.org.uk (ta for asking)
 
Fantastic idea! I've spent many an hour pouring minds website and pamphlets, amazing cause. I was threatened with sectioning before they tested my blood pressure. Hopefully I'll let you see the results of the labours soon! Thanks again dude! :)
