I only had my phone on me so I used that, I was shooting blind into the sun and my phones not that good so i couldn't see a thing.

At the end of the day all our DSLR's are a sensor in a box with lens in front. and that's what we all have in our phones nowadays.

I've only used my phone camera on a few occasions, indoors it's practically useless as there's no flash of any sort on it. The last time I took anything with it was a car parked in a dangerous way after it had been in an accident.

You should learn how to use it. I won my Xbox 360 in a photo competition with an iPhone 4S shot.

Typical north east weather ;)

I was talking to a mate about phone cameras just today, as it happens.

I think that yer average smartphone snapper makes a quite-a-bit-better-than-nothing landscape camera, as the lenses are so wide-angle.

You have to be super-mindful of exposure, though, because they're definitely not very good at metering. Being able to tap anywhere on the screen and meter that bit helps.

I've found that installing ProShot on my Lumia 920 has helped, because it lets me twiddle the things I want to twiddle.

Had some great results with my phone when out with the dog in the park and just had a funny moment well handy

Good shot! Nothing beats a try and sometimes you get lucky!
