Hi everyone,

On Sunday I will be going away to Iceland for a month and was wondering if anyone had any tips for photography or locations for when I am there.
I'm mostly there for work but free in the evenings and weekends!

I appreciate that renting a car might be the best way of getting around but I'm young and don't have a credit card so I suspect that might not be an option.
There seems to be lots of guided tours, was just wondering about peoples past experience and whether there are any photography friendly tours that anyone knows about?

I'm not necessarily interested in one of the tours specifically designed for photography (they are much more expensive and I don't think I need instruction, etc.) but just more wanting to see as much of the island as possible and have some time at each location to take a few photos!

Will be really grateful for any help!

Cheers,
Tom

No Credit Card can be a big issue at many places, including hotels. I would seriously suggest having a good look for one even if it is low limit and high interest (you can transfer money on it and you should repay 100% every month!)

I am sure they do tours around the famous places. And I am fairly jealous :)

I could get one I'm sure, it's more the issue that I left it too late! I'm not staying in a hotel and never had issues before at hotels though! :(
They definitely do tours round, I just was wondering if there were any that stopped for long enough to get a few pictures- not just an off the bus then straight back on kind of deal. Guess I'll just have to chance it and see what happens! :)
