I know there are some forum members going to Iceland soon so I thought i'd post some shots to whet people's appetite for what they might see.




 
Those skies are amazing and a very nice set of shots, the last one in particular is outstanding.
 
I'm sure if someone could offer a pay double for your trip for guaranteed light show plenty of people would take the offer.
Superb shots :clap:, and I agree with Steve the last shot is the star of the show for me.

Shame that second horse from the right couldn't train the rest of the bunch to stand still for the camera.

Yes, I've been there and shot aurora every night for two weeks before and I've been there and saw it once in two weeks. It's a magical sight.

All great shots! I agree with others that the last is the pick of the bunch! We went to Norway during the summer, and I must say I would like to return during the winter to see similar!

Extremely jealous. I went there a few years back just for the one night and you've guessed it, no showing that night. There was a good show the previous night and also the following one. Would love to go back sometime.
 
Sooo cool!

We visited this tiny town called Honnisvag around the north cape. Was amazing!

Wanted to go back to go fishing in spring or summer, but now thinking winter is the way forward!
