Hi guys...
I'm hunting for the new Tamron 70-200 f2.8 and found that this ebay seller ( http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Tamron-SP-70-200mm-f-2-8-Di-VC-USD-Lens-Canon-Mount-A009-A009E-/230917832165#vi-content ) has best price and 100% feedback. Anyone of you have bought something from them and could recommend?

Thats what they write about themselves
"There are plenty of great reasons to buy from iBuyjp! We start with competitive prices and excellent eBay Feedback, but there is much more:

We are an incorporated Japanese company with a US-based subsidiary. We are around for the long-term.

We speak English natively, you will never have communication problems.

Our item descriptions are professionally translated from the manufacturer's Japanese specifications. Everything is easy to understand, you always know exactly what you are buying!

We have many years of experience exporting expensive and fragile items.

We use only brand-new packing materials of the highest quality. We never use newspaper, damaged boxes, or other low quality materials.

We absolutely guarantee the authenticity of every item we sell. Any item professionally judged as inauthentic will receive a 110% refund upon return."

its another grey retailer from HK - and the address they give as their "uk customer service centre" is just a mail forwarding facility

they also claim to refund any duty you have to pay - which strongly suggests that they are trying to evade the duty but will (probably) refund you for it if you get caught

this (my bold) doesn't fill me with confidence in their probity

All our prices include "VAT/Duty Free" guarantee, meaning we guarantee that you WILL NOT have to pay any import charges (namely import duty, courier handling fees, VAT). If you are asked to pay import charges when you receive your package, please pay the customs as requested and ask us to reimburse all those charges.

so they guarantee that you won't have to pay , but if you are asked to pay (which they've guaranteed you won't have to one line previously) you can 'ask' for a refund - yeah okay

on the whole i'd give it a swerve - if you want grey but reputable try flash camera (aka Kerso) or Hdew (both of whom import stuff themselves and fulfil your order from a uk warehouse - so you definitely won't have to pay duty because they've already done that)
