I want to go home

Here I am, fourth Canadian city in five days and I've had enough of hotels, airports and work. Years ago I used to spend months away at a time and it never bothered me, it was all a great adventure but since the kids came along I knocked that work on the head. I've still got another six days and work in three more cities before I get home.

It's funny, you don't appreciate what you've got until you can't have it.

I wouldn't mind so much but I've seen practically nothing of where I've been, for instance I arrived in Ottawa last night (from Edmonton) and got to the hotel just after 8pm. Up this morning, work, straight to airport and on yet another flight. Hopefully I'll get out and about in Toronto this weekend but it is set to be cold, it's bloody freezing at the moment but a couple of people have said it is due to get worse.

Moan, Moan, Moan, Moan, Moan. Typical bloody Englishman!!! It's not going to be too cold in Toronto over the weekend. Only a low of -11c which is positively summer like Just watch for the wind chill which will add another -10c to the temperature

I had to go out and buy a coat tonight, I had four layers on and was frozen! I thought my face was going to fall off.

Ya Tart!!!!! You know, I've been here just over 3 years now and -11c does actually feel quite warmish compared to what we normally get this time of the year. You'll know it's cold when the hairs in your nose freeze with every inhale and then you feel the cold biting on your lungs.
