I really want to buy a canon 30D with or without kit lens. Any idea where is the best to buy this from?

Although I live in Spain I can have it sent to a UK address and then have it brought out.

I got one second hand off a member here and it's excellent, I did the deal face to face not sure how i'd feel trading with an unknown over seas as there is always he potential for a scam.
 
I got a second user, boxed, described as "Mint-" 30d with kit lens for a good price from Ffordes... they have 2nd user stock on fairly rapid turnover.

I cannot fault the camera, or the service. The only "Mint-" bit was a shop sticker on the bottom of the beast - the box was complete, including warranty and plastic bags for the various bits and pieces.

I would recommend Fforde's to anyone - as indeed they were recommended to me by a 'tog from Ireland.

Dunno if we are allowed to post links to dealers in here, but the top link that Google Uk returns, for "Ffordes Photographic" is them :)
 
A new one for an old one maybe ??
Am I right in thinking that Kerso's camera body's come without a warrantee, or some sort of international one that may not be valid in Spain ??
I have a jessops £10 'loyalty' voucher you could use towards it if that would help, though I doubt that they will be the cheapest in some ways...

Yes - they have a new 30D with the 18-75mm USM Kit lens on offer for £849
 
Just had a quick google and new 30D's look a bit over priced to me still seem to be going for over £500 which puts you only £100 or so off a 40D I'd do some serious research before parting with your cash!
 
Ffordes are good for used gear they have a grading coding system and they are pretty spot on what they say used them a lot no problem at all. Park Cameras are good too mind.

I've found one on Amazon for 582 including a kit lens, and Curry's are about 40 quid less (but out of stock).

What's the difference between the 30D and the 40D?
 
Check on Canon's web site, the 40D is a far superior camera.
