I know how you feel. A few years ago I splashed out £4000 on the newly released Nikon D1X. Within 2 weeks the shutter collapsed. 5 months later I was still waiting for its return!!!!

Bigger fool you! If I had spent that much on a camera and it had gone wrong within a month I would have been wanting a NEW replacement or my money back. No way would I have been waiting 5 months.
