Hello fellow groovers!

I am thinking of some stage of getting a macro lens to use on my Nikon D70.

I've seen some very good shots posted on here with I think the Sigma 105mm lens I think?

What's the model number? Wouldn't want to get the wrong one!

there's only one sigma 105mm macro lens but you have to ask for a nikon mount

Macro is next on my list for the D200/D70s combo of bodies. The 105mm gets great reviews, so it will be that or the 150mm Sigma if I can afford it, for the extra distance from subject, which also gets equally good reports.

And with that lens you can add a 1.4x converter to get even closer!

Just out of interest, I have a 90mm tamron macro up for grabs.

Certainly as good as the sigma and definately as good as my mates nikon 105 Vr micro lol.

Was he upset when I showed him the images in a side by side comparison? Wadda you think?
