Hope you can all help me. It's my sister's birthday on friday, she'll be 22, and I am clueless as to what I can buy her for her birthday. I've done the usual CD/DVD/book thing before so want to avoid that but I'm struggling for alternatives. She's very fussy over what she wears so I'd rather avoid buying jewellery because I'd never pick out her first choice. Can you offer any good suggestions?

Why are women so hard to shop for? :bang:

Edit: Looking to spend up to £40 for something really nice but ideally keeping it under £20.

She's a keen horse rider and she's shortly going to travel india for several months so maybe I could get something she could take for the journey.

book to learn the language with? bit dull but fairly safe

horsey toys, does she have a horse or just like riding as a nice wooden brush might be appreciated, bit prettier than functional. Just an idea though

I've come across a book called 'A Girls' Guide to India - a Survivor's Handbook' on Amazon. Whilst I said I'd avoid a book this seems like the best option so far, and at under £8 I save some money for the lens kitty :D.

David - Yes she does have a horse although it's already pampered!
