Unfourtunately, I have drifted away from photography the past half a year or so. After buying my first DSLR (was using a bridge camera before) I enjoyed a few months, but since then my camera has rarely been used. I live in Southport (near Liverpool) and I just need something to make me see what made me so passionate about photography before. So I thought I would join a forum and hopefully I can be inspired again. Does anyone have ideas on how I can get my spark back because I really dont want to lose it completely. Thanks :)

Liverpool docks i bet would be fantastic for a large number of shots! Get the BG-E3 Grip for the 400D I did best purchase so far!

Get yourself to Crosby and take shots at sunset, long shutter speeds 10-20secs, that place looks so surreal with the statues scattered across the beach and sea at that time and so will your photos.

Or try photographying something u havent photographed before. You will be surprised what u may enjoy.I lost my photo mojo last year and just got my passion back.I never photographed animals before, started taking photos of my dog n i cant stop taking photos now. I never thought I would enjpy taking photos of animals till I tried it.If u take photos of what u enjoy and experiment with different things,u cant go far wrong.Hope that helps.

While your in Southport, get your self to Martin Mere, There's great opportunities for bird photography, and well lets face it, Southport/formby are located superbly for sunsets!

What about joining in teh 52.09?

Quite an extensive list of suggestions on this page.

47. Read Forums
We’ve mentioned that Flickr Groups can be good places to find inspiration but so can photography forums. Often, photographers use them to pose questions, but even those questions can get you thinking. The answers can get you shooting. (That can include your answers too. Tossing in your own two cents’ worth can get you thinking about all things you’re not doing — or haven’t been doing yet.)

Any ideas then ladies and gents?
Try taking inspiration from song lyrics, pick a line or passage you like and stage your interpretation
