I need inspiration PLEASE! 3 themes. Local comp!

Hello everyone, there is a local competition with 3 themes. The closing date is soon, images have to be in by NOVEMBER 29th!

The themes are:

Light at a time of darkness

new beginnings

positive transformations



Any ideas? I have in mind: a new born baby (if possible), streaked headlamps, candles, gas hob.

Please fire away. No idea is too crazy or abstract.

light in the time of darkness, could be a picture of a lighter, flicked on a long exposure on pitch black?
 
Lightning or street light, open fire.

Someone moving house, plant coming out of seed pod,

Someone applying their makeup, someone being released from prison,
 
Light at a time of darkness:

Headlights / brakelights at night - light trails, or if you have a good enough lens, the moon.

new beginnings:

New born baby,
First page of a new diary,
Leaf turning over.

positive transformations
Person in tatty clothes looking miserable to suited and booted with a smile.

gazedd: what kind of exposure time are you thinking? cheers for the suggestions :)

shutterman: that's interesting, I was thinking of the seed and also the prison, but don't think I'll be able to get that one =[ great idea though, cheers for the suggestions I'll keep an eye out!

Josh: great suggestions thanks, I will try out a few of those :] I would like to capture a new born baby but don't know how to go about that? I'll try out some of the others.
