I may be just thick

But when my SB600 was attached to my D2H the display lit up when I half pressed the shutter yet on my D200 it doesnt... I have read the manual but cant seem to find the feature any ideas:shrug:

Have a play in the "flash" menu on the camera...I am always forgetting to do this and trying to set FP high speed synch on the flash unit....it isn't on it, it is in the camera menu. Maybe what you are after will rear its ugly head from in there too.
