Hey there,

so I made the switch to the 600D and this is probably why I'll keep it:

[/QUOTE]

All material (audio, too) is straight off the camera and was arranged in iMovie within 25-30 min... no post-processing, nothing. While, of course, the cinematography could be better, I find the raw IQ very convincing and look forward to future projects. This is fun! :)

 Dont ever work at costa's will you - we'll all die of thirst

If thats from a camera then I am amazed - thats all I can say (esp at it being a Canon :$)

Ha, no worries. I'd rather stab myself for money than compromise on quality like they do. I say 'compromise' instead of verbs of cleansing bodily functions because I try to remain polite.

It's from a 600D, using Tamron 90mm Macro, Tamron 17-50mm and Canon 50mm/1.8 lenses. No artificial lights and it hasn't been tinkered with. I'm very happy with how this little camera can do video!

I take you don't like nescafe then !

Watching that I had to go and make myself an espresso!

Like me, you obviously spend more on your coffee than on your photography. Interesting machine.

Haha, no nescafe for me, no.

Coffee isn't the worst thing to spend your time on, you know...

Me too, I want video :( Nice coffee by the way

Nice! Even the sounds of the machine at work were great. Made me smile.

Ya... I read in many reviews that the mic on the 600D is useless. While it isn't stereo and probably not great in windy situations, I was surprised with how usable the sound turned out to be in indoor conditions. Also, it's a goddamn DSLR. They're not even supposed to have mics.

That is very good video quality. I knew the 600d could do HD video but didn't think it would be as good as that!

Yeah, neither did I... very impressed and looking forward to some more elaborate projects with lights etc.

mmmm now to decide whether to upgrade my 400d to a 600d over the 550d i was originally thinking...nice vid by the way!!

How did you do editing? Or rather how many times did you film the scene? :)
Good work.

I pulled four shots in total... all the stuff before the actual coffee is done only once, repositioning the camera in between.

All editing was done in iMovie, and it was just dragging and dropping sequences together and adding the titles. Not even transitions. As I said before, the video quality is as it comes straight off the camera.

Took about 30min to film and 20min to piece together and upload.

Yea, definitely a coffee snob myself. Life's way too short for bad coffee.
