I MAC G5 Final days

Just made a decision, to stick with my pc intel CS3 etc, and do something else with my G5 I MAC being in its final days Not being intel. So, Is there an edit programme other than Gimp or Picassa that does not require intel and is a free download. The idea is to create a new platform that I guess that I can play around with portrait mono, or something different, then perhaps if anything good comes up I can transfer it back to Lightroom, "which doesn't require intel and is on my Mac. Really would apprieciate any advice Thanks Bob W

Not sure on a specific answer, but you may be able to get a CS2 license dirt cheap now?
