I know sometimes it doesn't work out that much cheaper because of import duty etc, but that's got to be an exception!

Using XE Currency Converter the Nikon D300 comes out £50 cheaper from the UK site.
 
i'm living in spain just now and, with the strong euro Vs Pound, there aren't any great deals to be had. i've looked in a few photo shops here and there are no deals at all that i've found.
even worse, the movile phone system here is TERRIBLE!
you cannot get anything like the deals we do in the UK.
here, connection is charged, and then costs per minute.
the idea of paying £30/month and getting 600 x network minutes and nearly unlimited texts, also is just a dream.
try €30 month for 100minutes... certain times of the day, or to other orange handsets only...and only 100 texts too.
