Yes
it only seems to fire on 1/16th when on the camera.

if i press test i go blind but when i take a shot its really dim and underpowered.

anyone got any ideas, i dont know what model it is, doesnt say anywhere, it has a AF assist light and sliders on the back, and its very big.

none of the buttons seem to change anyhting, jsut for aperture reference etc

i can post a pic if needed

I have a sunpac flash and as far as I can tell from reading around, attaching it to the hotshoe on the camera runs the real risk of frying the camera. That's why I haven't used it. I can't find the webpage that shows flashes that shouldn't be used with new dSLR's, sorry.

it fires fine but jsut at low power

for reference if anyone else has this problem its a ttl only flash, no manual mode.

hi brad hope you see this next time your online try cleaning the contacts on both the flash and your camera could just be a bad connection

cheers dino, i got it to fire by covering the other ttl contacts
