First proper post, and it is not a 'how much is it worth' question as I know none of them are worth much to worry about, and they are not for sale anyway.

I recently had the job of clearing a friends house after he died. He had a small number of cameras from many years back to a couple of years ago. Having asked people and done some internet searching,I realise none of them are valuable, so I have chosen a couple with which to learn a bit more about photography. They are,in age order.
1/ Agilux Agiflash. circa 1958
2/ Taron VIC. circa 1962
3/ Lubitel 166b. circa 1980 [ it looks 1940's !]
4/ Minolta Dynax 7000i. circa 1989
5/ Finepix 6900Zoom. circa 2002

It is the last two [obviously] that I am trying to learn how to use. The Minolta feels lovely in the hand and makes that satisfying noise that real cameras make !
The 6900Zoom is obviously digital technology, and I would think will make a good learning tool before moving on to more modern/expensive equipment.

If the above cameras inspire any comments then please feel free. I will ask any questions about my learning in the relative areas.

I had one of the Minolta 7000s - nice bit of kit. If there are any lenses with it, they may be compatible (somebody who knows should chip in!) with modern Sony Alpha DSLRs.
