I imagine this has been asked a million times :)

Right...

3 of the rods have plain nipples at each end. First, push the end of each one into a socket in the corner of the softbox, then fit them to the corresponding sockets in the softbox speedring. One the first one is in you will need to bend the other rods a bit, that's normal.
Then put the plain end of the remaining rod into the remaining corner of the softbox. Then put the other end into the speedring. Then bend the rod as necessary and slide the ball at the end until it fits into its cutout.
Job done.

Ignore my last reply. It was in response to a previous reply. So the rods go in the side holes?

Paul, if you haven't sorted it out before, why not just give me a ring in the morning?

Just one socket at 9 o'clock where the rest be at? Also I may be being stupid here. Thats always a strong possibility.

The one at the 9 o'clock position is designed to make it easier to assemble, with some Lencarta softboxes you'll get a rod with a little ball on the end for that socket and (as far as I can tell) it just requires less force to insert as you don't have to pull so far back.

If you were assembling a square softbox you could start at 12 o'clock, then do 6 o'clock, then 3 and finally 9. Don't be surprised if it requires a lot of force, the rods bend over time and make it a little easier in the long run.

Muchos gracias guys. Got it sorted. The videos were throwing me a bit but we got there in the end. Lets all drink warm soup in celebration.....next.....the umbrella reflector >:?

They're just called umbrella's (despite some working exactly like a reflector you can also have shoot through), what's the problem? If you're just wondering where to stick it (no not there) then it looks like it fits directly underneath the main body through the small hole and through the matching hole on the reflector (if you have one).

Just dawned on me you were referring to the actual reflector, obviously I need more coffee.

Any modifier you insert into an s-fit head will have 3 small spokes, line them up with the sockets in the head and make sure the side with the hole for the umbrella shaft is towards the bottom then push into the head and twist (clockwise I think) to lock it in place (you should hear a click once it's in position).
