I have returned to learn more about photography. During the time I have been absent I have been learning about the works of my camera and lens. I launched into buying a Canon 50d with lens 400mm f5,6L.
My reason for buying such a lens was bird photography but I struggle with low light taking photos within a wood.
All my photos are taken with the camera on a monopod and within my garden a tripod.
When I was on here I was a bit hurt when the photos were criticised but I criticise my own photos so much I have grown to realise that without advice I will be making the same mistakes over and over.
I look forward to putting some of my photos up and reading the many threads that are on here on the many subjects of photography.

These are always likely to be very challenging conditions and worse when the light loses strength as the year advances.
