This thread seems to be about pedophiles and religion.... The warning on a photogrpahers forum is to stay away from the subject of religion.

Do you know why we have a 'rule' (I use the term loosely of course) about not discussing religion?
It's not because of the actual subject, it's the result of discussing it.
Most people are on the same page when it comes to paedophilia. They abhor it and all agree that it's wrong.

Religion just makes everyone argue like hormonal handbag carriers, which creates disharmony and bad feeling within the community.

So we'd rather not have to deal with children who can't have a sensible discussion. Ergo, not allowed. Not because one is wrong and the other is right.
