Hi all.
I have Amazon Prime, although I am fairly pleased with the service what I don`t get is the Amazon Prime Music, It is supposed to be free but all the time it cuts me off and asks me if I want to start a subscription.
I know their site is total s***e but come on, does anyone here know how to work Prime music without it trying to get you to sign up a Subscription (again)
Even the "My Music - list) is muddled up, I add a track or so I believe and when I do find that track it plays something totally different like I had added a mixed album and it randomly picks a track... I just don`t get it.

With Prime, music, like TV, is some free, some subscription. If you have "basic Prime", you get some TV & music in the deal, but other stuff is chargable.

Prime Music and Unlimited is now the same in terms of what is available. It its on one it will be on the other.
Prime Music play back is at 320kbps where as Unlimited will play at CD quality or better.

What you are finding is that Prime Music can only be listened to in shuffle mode. If you try to skip tracks to much or try and play an entire album it wont do so it will shuffle them hence you getting something else. Its kind of like tuning into a radio station - you are trying to change whats being "broadcast".

Unlimited will let you do what you want,

They changed the format a while ago. You used to get a fairly good selection of tracks by an artist you requested, plus it would also play any albums you’d bought on cd etc on your other devices. Now if you don’t pay an extra monthly subscription to get the premium service you’re lumbered with the basic one, which only plays “something like” what you asked for. The music you paid for option is gone. It used to be a decent service, now it’s pretty dire. I’ve stopped using it.

Although you can listen to music for free you can’t have a playlist like Spotify as it plays you random tracks too. It’s basically an artificial tier below their paid subscription.

I don’t use it for music at all (as you can’t to any satisfactory degree!) but it’s great for podcasts.

I did try it as part of my Prime subscription , was not impressed , If you serched for a popular artist is said no , But if you upgraded yes at a cost.
