....so I'd just like to say hello.

I started with an MX1200 and just did P&S for about four years. Currently I'm shooting with an S602pro, TCON-17 and a Vivitar 283 but I'll offer one of the sprogs for a 20D. I'm a member of some other forums (only one actively) and felt I was getting in a rut. So here I am...looking for revigoration and meeting new people. Hope I'll fit in.

Hello Stepheno, its a little bit of an unusal name that you have there and one that was very familiar to me from another forum I used to help out on. I am wondering are you one and the same perhaps?

Either way you are very welcome here. I am glad you chose to drop by :)

welcome Stephano, i hope you enjoy your time here!

:) How's it going old friend, what have you been up to since Christmas ?

Is revigoration a word?? Hello stepheno :)

Many thanks for the welcome milou...Steeps. Steve...I've been plodding along trying to better my knowledge and technique. When I moved to the S602 the idea of shooting manual was very daunting but Silkstone gave me some very good advice. Anway, I thought, come hell or high water I'll take the plunge, so I've been doing manual since about last November.

Well that just posed a new set of learning curves....but I'm getting there. It's just trying to remember and apply all the different variables. I'm getting some decent shots now and I'm very conscious of composition. I recognise a few of the guys around here, yourself included, and I wouldn't be where I am without their/your help. Anyway I'm starting to ramble now so I hope to make some useful contributions and glean some more knowledge here. So far I like the site and thanks for the warm welcome.

regards
