First test of the Sony HX20V..

Sound is awful, with horrific wind noise from the onboard mic, so I've muted that out for now. Losing the HX9V knocked back the budget for a Zoom H for a wee while. Shot in 1080p 50p, editted to 720p 25p for Vimeo. I think I may need to review the frame rate in the conversion - to try and do something about the prop stutter.

For a point'n'shoot compact, the video performance is pretty impressive to me as a non-pro.

My girlfriend bought me this yesterday as a present.

I really wants it as a B can for a wedding i'm filming in August. It is amazingly good and the fact you can take a still whilst in shot is superb.

I think the video quality is awesome and zoom fantastic!
