Huskie dog attacks child

yes but we've already established that in glasgow dibble would have to come team handed , armed to the teeth and with helicopter gunship support , just to enter some of the pubs ... so this may not be a good use of resources.

We could also apply the f***tard test to driving - anyone who fails (by for example not appreciating that it is never safe to drive at 130+ on the public highwway) could have their car confiscated and crushed and their driving licence revoked for ever

Why is it never safe? It's a little ill informed to say that speed in itself without other factors is dangerous. If it were dangerous I wouldn't have done it. Clear road, no other road users, well sighted. Not dangerous. Taking the p*** yes, dangerous no way man. I have no doubt you'd love to see me banned from the roads, fir good. I'm not fussed but I hold your logic when it comes to biting dogs. To sleep they go...

One injured child, from the lack of details, there is no evidence to support your comment.
My sister-in-law had a Dalmatian, the softest people/kid loving dog you could have ever met, loved a fuss from whoever was around. Yet one day my niece had a friend round and whilst both girls were in the kitchen with the dog, the dog bit the friends face leaving her with her bottom lip hanging off. Now knowing that dog, I know he wouldn't have done that without provocation of some sort and with 4 kids in the family at the time ranging from a baby to a 13yr old, he was used to a lot of "rough" but friendly treatment.
Just because a dog has bit someone, don't assume it's because it's not a nice dog/pet. You could come across the nicest person in the world, but do something to them they don't like and you could find yourself on the receiving end of a whack, does that make them, not a nice person? I don't think so.

By that logic a car driver could have driven a million miles without event then one day after a boozy night drive their car and hit someone and be done for causing death by drink drive or whatever. The TP lynch mob would be baying for blood saying scum of the earth etc. it's not so different, a nice guy up until that mistake

Probably an Alsatian/big wolf like dog.
Horrible things IMHO and not suitable for families.

please stop talking absolute nonsense

I must stop using the TP app on my phone. I blocked this f***tard because he starts idiot threads about things he knows nothing about, so why can I still see him on the App?

Well Matty, I haven't read such claptrap as you've just posted. I've three English springers and my daughter breeds Great Danes. Where did you get your info from?
My springers are really laid back as are the rest of the litter. And the daughter has been breeding Great Danes for twelve years and in that time not one of any of her dogs has the slightest aggression in it.
I think mate you should post where your info comes from as the only dog on your list that I've ever come across that was massively aggressive was a Rhodesian Ridgeback. And that was so uncontrollable and aggressive that the police obtained a destruction order against it.

everyone seems to want an exotic doggie nowadays

Dachshunds #1 dangerous dog? my god all this time the MIL mini dachs has been eyeing us up for a mauling when shes on her back on your lap wanting her tummy rubbed

bloody JRs should be at #1 :shifty:

of and FWIW i agree with POAH, had several german sheps and Alsatians in the family over the years and they've all been completely soppy gits. even with kids (supervised).

Of course it's different, the catalyst in your example (the drink) is self inflicted. The catalyst in my examples comes from a third party.

Do your springers get enough exercise? I'd guess so as I'd hope your a responsible owner. I'm also sure you would know what they would be like if they weren't properly exercised. That will be the main reason they are on the list.

That list is clap trap, no such thing as a dangerous breed, any dog can be MADE dangerous just like ANY dog can be made to be obedient and calm.
It's purely down to owners training the animal and being boss.
Saying that, I wouldn't trust ANY dog with children unsupervised.

Oh man don't get me started on spitting cyclists....

BTW I'm not surprised the dog went in one after the child hurt her lip and the dog was confronted by 14 riot gear clad policemen....Something doesn't feel right about this story at all....I hurt my hand last night, I gave some bacon to Nero and he nibbled in the process on my hand...and not only that his claw stood on my barefoot and scratched me....ASSAULT ASSAULT...Let's kill all the dogs, please will someone think of our children....

Yes, we never know what really happened, often the truth is suppressed for ever, and the press don't like reporting good news anyway...

Many years ago, an 8 year old boy decided to break into a building site. He climbed over a chain link fence, fell off the top and injured himself very seriously when he landed on some broken glass.
There were 2 German Shepherds (then known as Alsations) on guard there, one of them, no doubt wanting to help, came up to the boy and ended up with some blood on him. These dogs were so vicious and dangerous that a lady of over 80 used to look after them and take them for walks.

Anyway, a police officer turned up. This was before the days of H&S, Silver Commanders and risk aversion and he was a real hero, he forced the gate and went into the compound and carried the boy out, ignoring the danger that he believed himself to be in. The boy was now safe, so no great panic.

I turned up, called out by the National Canine Defence League to catch the dogs if possible and take them to the NCDL kennels. I also had had a Lee Enfield rifle, just in case these dogs really were dangerous. This rifle was more than capable of killing them humanely, if this was necessary.

By the time I got there, it seemed that half of MetPol was there too, I was flatly told to go away because it was a police matter and needed police expertise to resolve it, this was no job for a civillian. Their 'Marksmen' then shot the dogs, using a mixture of diddy little rifles and service revolvers, they used enough ammo for a small war and those dogs suffered badly and uneccessarily. Of course, I accept that some things have changed now and that some armed police officers can actually hit the proverbial barn door, but back then it was different.

For literally weeks, all the news was about vicious Alasatians and this poor little boy. The true facts were never published and the police officer who got him out of there was never mentioned.

As a direct result, the law was changed, making it illegal to leave unattended guard dogs on premises in the future.

So, ignore what you read in the press
