Huey Monitor Calibration available to borrow..

I have a Huey monitor calibration thingie, and am happy to lend it out to anyone who wants to try it out (maybe to help decide if they want to buy one).
All I want is for it to be returned, with postage paid both ways, so i am not out of pocket, and if it gets damaged or lost, then I get a refund (I paid £30 for it I think..). A small contribution would also be nice, and will end up in a charity box, but is not essential - we are not all flush !
It may be going off for a few days next week, but is likely to be available after that.
I have no idea if this contravenes any forum rules, so if it does, then sorry, and please delete this thread.

Im not going to say anything for definate now, but I might take you up on the offer.

You sent something to Scotland with the intention of receiving it back :eek: :lol:

Very generous offer all the same. I think my monitor is OK at the mo, but I may drop you a line in the future.

I thought that until I actually hardware calibrated it :eek: The contrast/brightness was OK but the colour was off. I've calibrated several LCD monitors on PCs now and it has made them ALL at lot warmer (seems to have corrected a blue cast I couldn't see before).

I also used it on 3 x Formac monitors on Macs and there was little difference.

Get your monitor hardware calibrated if you can (I've got a Gretag Display 2) :thumbs:
