Hi All,

I would like some help with the above. I want to start using HSS but not sure if I can only use speedlights of if I can use a monolight with onboard battery for outdoor mobile shooting. If anyone can help me with this I would appreciate it.

I don't know the D600 specifically but, in this case,
the RFM strategy will tell you all about it. If you can
use HSS with Nikon flashes then the door is open.

What can be done, in terms HSS with the speedlights,
is also possible with blocks and even generators. For
ex., the D2's. B1's and B2's plus the 3 SB900's I use
are all compatible and performing in HHS.

…and welcome to the forum!

Welcome to TP :)

There are a few battery monolights with HSS. The Profoto B1 and B2 that Kodiak mentioned and a few others, though the brand attracting most attention ATM is Godox, specifically the AD200, AD360 and AD600. There are relevant threads if you check the lighting forum.

Thanks for the both replies. :) I have been looking at the Godox devices, they seem to be great spec and just what I need. Thank you.
