HOW?

Hi. My oh made me one with some mdf, small fluorescents and some opaque perspex.

maybe you can use a lampshade as a frame, line the inside with kitchen foil, and put something in the front to diffuse the light???

A proper Blue Peter job :bonk: but something that I've been thinking of as a temporary lightbox.
 
Doh are we talking a soft box or a light box?
 
DOH ! Indeed. Think I might have gotten myself confused. Mine is For softbox.
 
Thery're really cheap to buy new off FlashInThePan here, or ebay etc. Like £30-40.

Edit: that's for softbox. For lightbox, plywood/MDF, fluorscent tubes and opalescent Perspex as said above.

If you mean a light tent (for placing items in to photograph) then one can be made from a cardboard box and a couple of sheets of printer paper.....
