How to shuffle image order in LR or other software?

Hi

I'm compiling a 'best of' image gallery from last years shoots. So basically selecting images in LR and exporting them to a folder.

Once these images are all in the folder is there any way of 'randomnising' them? Just didn't want them to appear in the order they were shot. I know you can manually click and drag in LR but that would take forever so wanted to see if there was an easier way?

Sort by file size maybe as they will all be slightly different I would have thought

Why export and create folders? Perhaps you should use a "Smart Collection" or a "Regular Collection".

Maybe you can use your metadata and keywords to distribute them as you wish.

What software are you viewing the images in once you have exported them?

In lightroom I usually star rate my images the order by star rating for every catalogue. Makes it easy to scan through albums and see favourite images first.
