How to resize to CM in Photoshop

Evening all,

I am trying to do something fairly basic, but failing miserably!!

Basically, I want to print an A4 piece of paper with two images on it

One 7x7cm
One 8x12cm

I have the images copied and pasted onto an A4 new document within photoshop, but am clueless as to how I now resize both my images to what I want them to be?!

You need to resize the two images first and then place them on the new A4 doc

As I understand it - open both the images you want to use as well as the new document/canvas, and duplicate them in a layer of themselves.

Working on the duplicate resize each one to the required size.

Then duplicate this revised layer into the A4 document direct.

Move and adjust the image in the A4 document to where you want it to be.

Hope this helps - Im still a novice so there might be a simpler way.
