Beginner How to mount peak design strap to manfrotto base plate and still use tripod..

Hi

Now I’ve a long heavy lens, the general consensus is to attach the strap to the base plate, how do I do that and still use my manfrotto tripod and monopod..

Any advice welcome..

Just be careful and make sure the plate is fitted correctly. I have one of these and find that the toggles can get in the way when securing the camera/lens. A little jiggling about works, but be aware if you are rushing, I have had the camera come off before, thankfully with it in my hand.
