How to fit this?

Can anyone tell me how to fit this? Does it need a threaded pole from the ally block to a flash bracket?

Hard to tell from the photo but that looks like a softbox for a compact fluorescent head.

Sorry for late reply, been working non stop for weeks.... Don't know what make it is, had it in a job lot of stuff. Just 2 threaded holes in the solid ally block at the bottom.
